When people tell you being a vegetarian isn’t going to change anything, when people tell you recycling isn’t going to change anything, when people tell you donating to a cause isn’t going to change anything
Maybe I won’t stop any animals from dying, maybe I won’t save the planet, maybe I won’t end poverty, but at least I’m trying, at least I’m not making anything any worse. If I want the world to be a certain way and I’m not living my life in that way, there’s absolutely no hope. Now to be cliche and quote Gandhi, “Be the change you want to see in the world.”
